Heavenly Bedding – local equestrian and agricultural shows

We’re farmers ourselves and supply horse bedding to local farms, liveries, equine vets and of course to individual horse owners and riders. We like to attend local agricultural shows and also national equestrian shows where possible, to meet other suppliers and customers, new and old.

The Kelmarsh Show – 20th & 21st April 2025 (2026 TBC)

The Kelmarsh Show usually takes place on the Easter weekend, at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire.

The Kelmarsh Show welcomes a fantastic line-up that the whole family will just love! From live arena entertainment, awe-inspiring demonstrations and performances, lots of live music, fabulous food and drink, as well as hundreds of top-quality exhibition stands selling all kinds of countryside goods and products, you really will be spoilt for choice.

We were delighted to be there in previous years, including the first show for a while in 2022 and the weather was excellent! In between welcoming visitors to our stand, where we were able to show examples of our high-quality horse bedding, we really enjoyed seeing the equine displays and the Red Devils parachute team, which you can see in our photos.

The Kenilworth Show – next show 2026 TBC

The Kenilworth Show, organised by the Kenilworth & District Agricultural Society, usually at Stoneleigh Park. The 2026 Kenilworth Show is scheduled to take place at a new 80-acre site within the Stoneleigh Park estate, a location further down Stoneleigh Road. This marks a move aimed at securing the show’s future for many years to come. The 2025 show, held at the current location, was the final one before the move to the new site. Dates are yet to be confirmed for 2026.

The Blaston Show – Sunday 29th June 2025

The last Blaston Show took place in June 2024 at Langton Road, Slawston on a lovely sunny day!. The show was really well attended with record visitor numbers, many of whom we were delighted to meet on our stand.

There was a lot going on, from tug of war and bale rolling and terrier racing. Other popular features included the equestrian classes, cattle classes, dog show and vintage tractor display. There were a wide range of trade stands (including Heavenly Bedding) and food outlets selling everything from burgers to beer, pizza to pies, plus a choice of fresh ice cream vans. A great family day out.

The Ashby Show – Sunday 13th July 2025

The Ashby Show will be back in 2025, at Cattows Farm near Coalville, on Sunday 13th July.

This 1-day show has a packed programme of events and attractions to suit all age, including the regular Fun Dog Show. Entries are taken on the day.

Alongside the shows of cattle, sheep and horses, there will be many trade stands selling everything from tractors to handbags and jewellery, shopping and craft marquees, plus great British food and drink to sample in the food court areas. Plenty of bouncy castles and activities for children too.

A great family day out, with literally something for everyone! We will be there. so please come and visit our stand, we look forward to seeing you.

The NEW Fillongley Show – Sunday 10th August 2025 

The Fillongley Agricultural Society held their last annual show, celebrating 100 years, in 2019. With a wide range of horse classes and show jumping, this is a great family day out. We always enjoy these shows meeting a wide range of people and
previously we were able to offer some bedding to a lovely duck, who seemed to enjoy using it, as you can see in our gallery images. 

After a couple of years’ absence,  the NEW Fillongley Show will take place again in 2025.

Your Horse Live – 7th-9th November 2025

Taking place over 3 days at Stoneleigh Park, “Your Horse Live” is a fantastic annual event for all horse lovers, with a full schedule of events including competitions, demonstrations and masterclasses from top equestrians. Your Horse Live 2025 will take place once more on 7th-9th November at Stoneleigh Park.

The show also includes the UK’s largest equestrian shopping village – a great attraction in itself, with over 400 stands supplying everything from jodhpurs and jackets to saddles, horse feeds and of course horse bedding. We are delighted to have a stand where we met up with customers old and new and also had the opportunity to see some of the UK’s top riders in action. We look forward to seeing you there!

NVEC – Newbold Verdon Equestrian Centre

Heavenly Bedding sponsor a series of events at the Newbold Verdon Indoor Arena, a purpose built competition and training centre on the B582 Leicestershire.

NVEC is a well respected local equestrian centre, with a range of facilities, including occasional clinics from Laurence Hunt.
